Funding Update
30 Jan 2021
by Climbing Out

We’ve had incredible support from so many of our funders since the start of the Covid crisis, ensuring we’ve been able to get through the challenges of 2020 and still be here to do our life changing work.

Major funding from organisations including St James’s Place Foundation, The National Lottery, The 4814 Foundation, The Northwick Trust, The Tresanton Trust and the Charities Aid Foundation, as well as many smaller funding organisations that play just as important a part in our overall sustainability, has given us the ability to plan for 2021 and beyond.

We’ve also had some very determined fundraisers, who were forced to change their plans numerous times, but still managed to take part in an adaptive tri-challenge fundraising event, with individuals each doing their leg from their own home or areas, so we could maintain social distancing and limit the need to travel. It proved to be an incredibly special day and showed yet again that with a “How Can I” attitude, there is always a way!

We can’t thank everyone enough who have continued to support Climbing Out through these unprecedented times. We’ve been able to offer one to one support to over 200 past and future members of Climbing Out, Zoom group chats, podcasts, as well as planning and preparation for the online workshops, the walk and talk days and the work with the Emergency services, NHS and the military. Without you, we’d never have been able to keep available our adapted support through the crisis, and to continue to expand the programmes we offer and the people we support in the future.
