On Sunday May 29th Davey Averill completed his 270mile unsupported run of the Pennine Way. Davey tackled the gruelling challenge in memory of his son James, who sadly died last year.
James was a popular and enthusiastic member of Climbing Out and Davey chose to raise money for us in support of James’s passion for the charity
Davey has been through cold, wet, aches, pains, blisters, lack of sleep but he’s done it!! And in doing so he’s so far raised just under a staggering £5,000!!!! Davey, we are so grateful for all your efforts and James will be so, so proud of his Dad. Big love and thank you from everyone at Climbing Out xx
