Climbing Out’s New Ambassadors
30 Nov 2022

November has been quite an amazing month for the Climbing Out family! As all the programmes were finished for the year, we had the time to turn our attention to appointing some new ambassadors.

Our ambassadors are people who have attended a Climbing Out programme in the past, and who will keep flying the flag for the charity in the future.

They can do this by spreading the word in their local area or in the sector which they work. They can also provide support to future participants, to help us grow a network of support and communication.

This month, we held our first ever ambassador training weekend for our newly appointed ambassadors, and it was brilliant!

There was so much energy, enthusiasm, passion and commitment from everyone there – they blew us away!

It is fantastic to have their support, and their ideas for how to grow Climbing Out – there are some really exciting things starting to happen.

We’re really proud of the whole ambassador team. They are already starting to plan mini events local to them, such as walks or breakfast clubs, to keep the momentum and support network thriving. If you are a previous participant you can find out about these events on the Climbing Out Club Facebook group.

A huge thanks to ambassadors Tracy, Michaela and Jamie, for representing Climbing Out at the Emergency Services Mental Wellbeing Symposium this month.

Fantastic work all round!
