The Climbing Out Club weekends are always a great weekend, and none more so than our latest get together at the beginning of May.

Previous participants met at the Wilderhope Manor YHA, an impressive hostel in Shropshire and had some fun and games playing Golf on Saturday morning thanks to Mark Shervill from the Shropshire Gold Centre.

Who says you need two arms to play golf anyway!

Climbing Out encourages the young people who have taken part in our programmes to become ambassadors of Climbing Out. So Saturday afternoon saw us get in the class room (with the help of coffee and biscuits) and take part in some ambassador training, offering the guys guidance and support so they can not only get out there and spread the word, but also support other young people to benefit from the opportunities with the charity.

After a sociable Saturday night it was time to get out in the sunshine and go exploring in the Shropshire hills. A fantastic weekend….a fantastic bunch of young people!
